Dear CHSRC Families,

It is nearly mid-August, and this summer has gone way too quickly!

Please read all of this and respond, as there are several important bits of information for our families taking CHSRC classes.  Please print the attached calendar for the school year and keep it handy (or see it on the website)

1.  Covenant Member meeting August 28, 10:00-11:30 AM.   We desire to have everyone there, parents and
         teachers, as we will be sharing some key information about our program and the classes.
                  RSVP now by clicking:   Yes, I am coming      No, I can’t make it, but I want the info
             Be sure to tell us who you are and how many kids you will be bringing
     a. Kid Activities:  Meet McGruff the Crime Dog and learn about safety—See links
     b. Parent Opportunities:  Door prize drawings for some GREAT items
             $5.00 gift coupon to use in our bookstore or lending library
             Child Safety Kits (ID, digital fingerprints, DNA kit) available for purchase  (See attached for more info)
             Special Members Only discounts in the bookstore
             Sign up for CHSRC Classes
             Meet the teachers and other parents
              Invite a friend and you each get an extra door prize drawing ticket.

2.  Summer Library book rentals are now overdue.  Bring back any books you may still have to avoid further
          over due fines.

3.  Fall semester for book rentals has started.  All members are entitled to rent curriculum materials for $2.00
          per student book per semester and $5.00 per teacher book per semester.  (If you live far, we can mail
          books!)

4.  Unpaid balance for class books and lab/supply fees is due!  We have begun ordering books and supplies,
         so we need to get your accounts cleared if you haven’t paid.

5.  Class enrollments:  Check the list below.  All the classes listed have teachers, and most still have room for
        additional students.  You are welcome to encourage your friends to take the class with you!  The teachers
        have worked really hard to prepare and are excited to teach your children.  If the numbers are too low on
        August 15, some classes may be dropped or combined, which will mean changes in the schedule.  Please
        help us honor the teachers and students who have signed up.  If someone has been thinking about classes,
        NOW is the time to sign up.

6.  Would you like to get free classes and/or curriculum?  We can show you how.

7.  Classes begin in all locations the week of September 4.

8.  Some changes have been made to the schedule.  Please check the Devonshire and West Schedules.

10.  If your class has been canceled or your student has withdrawn, we will be making the enrollment and
       payment adjustments this coming week.
