Hello everyone and welcome back to school! Total Identification Systems will conducting a Safety Event for the entire family!! Please join us on Wednesday, September 26 at the Devonshire location or Wednesday, October 3 at the Covenant-West location. Details are as follows… (McGruff will not be at either of these events)
As a parent, keeping your kids out of harm's way is a top priority. Take the next step toward safety and security - with the McGruff Safe Kids Total ID System. This is the ONLY Digital ID system that is licensed by the National Crime Prevention Council and endorsed by Code Amber. In the unfortunate event that your child is lost, you as the parent give the package to the
investigating law enforcement official. They will scan the information into Amber Alert at that time in the hopes of locating your child faster and safely.
Your family's protection increases beginning the day your child attends the McGruff Safe Kids Event. You as the parent are the only holder of the record. We do not keep the information in any database or server. It is deleted from our software three (3) days after the event date for your and your child’s safety.
You can also visit our web site at http://phoenix.mcgruff-tid.com to view the ID package. The cost is $20.00 per child and it includes a self collection DNA Kit for you, the parents to obtain at home, 2 wallet size ID cards that you, the parents keep in your purse or wallet for handy reference and an ID Data Card that is 7" x 8
1/2" with their digital photo, 10 digital fingerprints and vital personal information. If you would like an additional set containing one (1) data card + two (2) wallet size ID cards for a separate household, grandparents or anyone else that your child may spend time with, these can be purchased for an additional fee of only $6.00 per child. Many families do order extra sets in case they have separate households, or there is a family member also helping take
care of the child, or even for a close friend or neighbor. It’s better to have more than not enough. Your child’s safety and well-being are worth it. A special arrangement is available for Covenant students. Any families with two (2) or more children being processed pay only $16.00 per student. Employee’s children are also eligible for the special rate of $16.00 per child.
Key Points: No smiling is allowed in photo, unless the smile does not change features. Photo can be used for age progression. Digital fingerprints can be used for forensic purposes. You as the parent are the only holder of this record. Keep the large card at home in a safe place and the ID cards in your
purse/wallet for handy reference. Also, keep the DNA Kit in a freezer Zip-Loc bag in either your refrigerator or freezer. That is where it keeps the best and longest here in AZ. Also, an officer cannot open an Amber Alert unless he or she has all of the pertinent pieces of information that is required by our system.

I will have Parent Letters (forms) that you can fill out on site. I will also bring a sample size of the package so that you can see it firsthand. Typically, you could register online before the event but we are in the process of updating our forms and the system so it is NOT available as of yet. However, you can pay with a debit or credit card the day of the event and I can
email you a receipt when I process it. You can also bring your completed form with you on 9/26 and also pay with a money order or cash (money orders made payable to McGruff). There is a $20.00 fee on returned checks. A single money order for all children in one (1) family is fine. The packages will be ready to take home after the event. So if you can please allow a little extra time that day to stop back by the McGruff table, you can take your completed ID
package with you home that day!
